About Glennae Davis

Founder, G.E. Davis Inc.
Inner City Youth Mental Health & Workforce Readiness

Since childhood, Glennae Davis has understood what instability feels like — not because someone explained it to her, but because she survived it. She grew up watching the same upstream forces that threaten today's inner-city youth: family mental illness, inconsistent safety, grief, violence, community pressure, and systems that fail to protect the very children they claim to serve.

She watched how quickly Black families — especially Black mothers and their children — were labeled instead of understood, dismissed instead of supported, and blamed instead of protected. And she learned early that if you don’t have an advocate, you can be swallowed whole by systems that were never built for you.

But instead of becoming hardened or hopeless, she became sharp.

Today, with more than 30 years in medicine, nursing, and health-equity leadership, Glennae brings the clarity she earned in adversity into every school, home, and youth space she serves. Her work is grounded in a truth she lived:

Children don’t fail because they’re broken —

they fail because the systems around them are.
And with the right support, they can rise higher than anyone expected.

Glennae founded G.E. Davis Inc. to be the support she wishes existed for her own family when she was young: a place where youth are seen, stabilized, and strengthened — not silenced, suspended, or pushed out.

Her expertise doesn’t come from theory. It comes from:

  • navigating unstable childhood environments

  • caring for patients and families in crisis

  • delivering nurse-led mental health and health-literacy education

  • providing medical advocacy and navigation to prevent misdiagnosis, missed diagnoses, and system harm

  • advocating for Black women, youth, and working families

  • overcoming workplace discrimination and system failures

  • creating legally informed pathways that protect employability and emotional health

Her authority is earned.
Her compassion is lived.

Her mission is clear:

To help youth and families achieve in the very places where most people fail — because she understands those places firsthand.

If you’re a parent, educator, or student tired of being misunderstood, mislabeled, or overlooked — you’re in the right place.

You don’t have to fight these battles alone.
G.E. Davis Inc. was built for you.
