Youth learn skills to:

• understand and express emotions

• build healthy coping and stress-management skills

• process grief and loss

• navigate peer and family challenges

• communicate thoughts, feelings, and needs

• manage overwhelm and conflict

• strengthen confidence and self-awareness

Our goal: Youth who feel heard, understood, supported, and equipped with the skills they need to stay engaged in school, care for their well-being, and pursue healthier futures.

G.E. Davis Inc. helps youth and families develop the practical knowledge and life skills needed to understand their health, communicate their needs, and make informed decisions.

Participants learn skills to:

• understand health and medical information

• recognize symptoms and early warning signs

• communicate questions and concerns

• understand care plans and next steps

• build problem-solving and decision-making skills

• develop healthy boundaries and communication skills

• advocate for themselves in healthcare and everyday life

Our goal: Individuals and families who have the knowledge, understanding, and communication skills to participate in decisions about their health and well-being.

G.E. Davis Inc. supports families as they navigate school and healthcare systems, especially during moments when a child may be misunderstood, overlooked, or at risk of falling through gaps in education or care.

We help families understand what is happening, prepare for important conversations, communicate concerns, ask informed questions, and advocate for the needs of their children.

School Advocacy

We provide education and support for families navigating:

• suspensions and expulsions

• discipline or safety meetings

• parent–school conferences

• attendance and academic concerns

• school communication challenges

• student safety concerns

• barriers that may interfere with a child's ability to remain connected to their education

Our role is to help families understand the situation, communicate effectively, ask informed questions, and participate in decisions affecting their child's education.

Our goal: Children remain heard, supported, and connected to their education while families have the knowledge and confidence to participate in the process.

 

 

Navigating healthcare can be difficult for families, especially when symptoms are changing, a diagnosis is new, information is difficult to understand, or families are unsure what questions to ask.

G.E. Davis Inc. provides nurse-led education that helps individuals and families develop the knowledge, communication skills, and confidence to advocate for themselves and participate in their healthcare.

We help individuals and families learn to:

• prepare questions before medical appointments

• document symptoms, changes, and patterns

• communicate concerns clearly

• understand medical information, lab results, and care plans

• identify questions to ask about referrals, follow-up, and next steps

• navigate new diagnoses and chronic health conditions

• strengthen communication with healthcare providers

• better understand their options so they can make informed health decisions
